No More Words

It’s only the fourth day of NaBloPoMo, and I’m dragging. Dragging like whoa. Why? Because I decided to start a blogging challenge mere days before the start of the annual conference at work. PastForward is a ton of fun, but it’s also a lot of work for everyone involved, and it’s just plain exhausting.

Now, I am not even close to being among the busiest people, or one with the longest hours among the folks involved in putting this on (our conference staff works around the clock and are flat-out amazing), but it wears me out nevertheless. The days are long, and involve a lot of running around and talking and being generally high-energy and fun — and two out of three of those thing are taxing for introverts like me. Awesome or Creepy?

This video has been making the rounds on Facebook and Twitter since yesterday:

I think it’s super-clever that someone was able to make a cohesive-sounding song from clips from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, but there’s something about it that creeps me out a little. Maybe it’s the auto-tune? I definitely appear to be in the minority – most everyone seems to love it. (Sprite looked at me like I was slightly insane when I said I thought it was creepy.) So… what do you think?
