Sunday Snapshot: One-Stop Shopping

This afternoon, while watching baseball (a Nats loss) and football (a Redskins win), I tackled a project I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time – I put together a website that pulls together most of the stuff I do online into one place: Lest you think I have somehow remembered enough code to build a site from scratch, it’s actually a service called, which has little widgets that pull in content from all over the social web.

If you’re wondering why I would need such a thing, it’s handy for conferences and networking and such to have a single URL to give people, instead of a bunch of different ones. And it was fun to make, so there’s that.

Anyway, I’d love to hear what y’all think of it!

I really like it! Nice to go one place instead of jumping screens or having Safari open up another window (I know, I’m impatient) so I can see the Instagrammed kittens. You seem to have lost the antlers somewhere. 🙂

This is FANTASTIC! You’ve done an impressive job. And, I love your background screen — same as mine 😊. What a great way to start your week (and ours). Your expertise is way beyond me.

BTW — HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ms. Meg!!! 15!!!! Susan the mother of a 15 year old — impossible. Enjoy this day too, Sue, as next year you’ll be headed to the DMV 😏

Thanks for the birthday wishes for my girl. If I were a better mom, I would have taken a picture of her this morning as she went to school…she looked OLD!! Which is impossible, because if she’s old…well…anyway…:-) And Meghan has been on the driving countdown for awhile already. Had to explain the difference between ‘legally able’ and ‘allowed’. 🙂
