Ok, ok… I’ll admit right off the top that this is not a single snapshot post. How could it be, when there is kitten cuteness in my house right now? (Well, at the moment there’s actually kitten sleepiness going on – apparently moving house is tiring for tiny felines.)
I am still not wholly settled on names, but I am leaning towards the ones that were in my dream back when I was on vacation, Harper and Carlson – even though part of me thinks it’s super-cheesy to name them after local sports stars. If I do stick with those names, I think the black kitty is Harper, because one of her nicknames with Danielle and Kristin (who found and fostered them) was “bat the cat” because of her giant ears, and the bat reference seems appropriate for a cat named after a baseball player. That would make the calico Carlson, which suits my fondness for cheesy alliteration – all the more so because “Caps” also starts with C.
But, you’re not here to read about the way I’ve gone about naming them, are you? You’re here for the cute, and these pictures will not disappoint:
AWAHHHH! They are sooooo adorable. Love the lil one curled up next to your Kindle — recognizing her “competition” early on…. Enjoy them. Hope they sleep well.
P.S. LOVED my salad tonight. HUGS!
Love anything to do with cats!
Adorable! Can’t wait to meet them in person!
So so cute. I personally love how you are already using a laser pen on them…
Way cute! They almost make me want another one.
Why can’t I see them on my computer? All i see is a big, black square!!! Grrr!!!
Hm… Is your computer old/not updated? I can’t remember what the slideshows run on Flash or some other script, but usually getting a black box means something is out of date. I’ll get them up on Picasa too, and email you the link later.
From a non-cat person:

Old and outdated. I looked on a newer one. Love them!!!!!! And nice pedicure, too 🙂
Too cute!
