It’s been a lovely, relaxing Saturday (just what I needed after a stressful week) and I’m now in the right frame of mind to look back at three beautiful things from the past week:
1. It was lovely to revive a long-neglected tradition of spending Sunday afternoon/evening with friends and wine.
2. At the Nats game on Thursday, my brother told me he was impressed with what a good sports fan I was becoming.
3. I cooked a delicious dinner on the grill tonight:
The corn in particular was outstanding – tender, juicy, and perfectly sweet.
What was beautiful in your world this week?
Sarah, we just finished a great potluck supper with a dozen neighbor friends, and yet your grilled corn & hotdogs have me salivating. Yum.
we had a very tough week with Catie’s coach since she was 5 passing away suddenly, but the incredible outpouring of pictures, stories and memories on the Gym’s fan page. Seeing how many lives he impacted in such a positive way – like he did with Catie, was truly a beautiful thing. As was the reminder to always value and recognize the ones you love.
Hey, my dish is pictured on your blog 🙂
1. Finally got picked at the zoo to have a parrot fly from it’s handler to me and back twice! The smiles on the kids faces to see the beautiful bird so close were priceless!
2. Marched in a parade and got to make people’s eyes get big by doing taekwondo tricks.
3. Celebrated a birthday at our house…he is a beautiful gift!
