Warmer Thoughts

I don’t know if it’s the bitter wind outside, the snowy pictures from the Northeast & Midwest, or the comments on my dad’s beach attire from yesterday’s post, but I’ve been thinking about sun, sand, and sea breezes all day. It seemed only right to share the warm and toasties with everyone else, and I could think of no better way than with the beachiest song this side of Margaritaville: Zac Brown Band‘s “Toes.”

(Yes,  the video is kind of weird. I’d never seen it until I went hunting it up for this post. If you don’t like it, just close your eyes and turn up the speakers.)

Ya’mean the picture of your no-longer-the-youngest nephew in his shorts in the snow didn’t do it for you????? Nah, me either! I’m partial to Jimmy Buffet, though…and surprised that you like this (since you typically eschew such portrayals of women).

If you like Buffet, I would think you’d like this. I think it’s pretty similar – though, for some reason, I like it better. The friend who introduced it to me, in fact, bought it for her Buffet-fanatic brother, who is now a big Zac Brown Band fan, too. And as for the women, like I said, I never saw the video before today. (And I’m not gonna lie… I did think, “Gratuitous boob shots? Really?”)
