Sunday Snaphots: Kids-Eye View

I’ve lived in DC long enough now that I rarely get an opportunity to take newbie tourists around town – most everyone I know has visited enough times to no longer need the basics. This past week, however, my cousin (known here in blogland as Common Loon) brought her three sons – ages 3, 5, and 7 – to town, and I got to do not only a “welcome to our nation’s capital” tour, but one for kids. As far as I was concerned, this gave me carte blanche to do two things I had never previously had a good excuse to do: ride the double-decker tour bus and take the duck tour.

Needless to say, we had a blast.

So what was the favorite part (beside the duck kazoo) and what was deemed most boring/least fun? What was the best question of the adventure(s)? And where all did you go? I’m so curious. Who was the most exhausted at the end of the day (as in which adult)?

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Wish we could have been there with you!!

What a great couple of days. Thanks so much for sharing — the smiling happy faces said it all !!!
Through the eyes of a child — you & your sibs –always provided a different level of wonderful FUN!! There are a host of places I’d never ever have gone & things I’d never have noticed had it not been for “field trips”. 🙂
