Wednesday Random Ten, Late Edition

I had grand plans to write a proper post today, but ended up spending the second half of my day working with an intensity that carried me through until just now (8 p.m.). It was fun, cool, creative stuff, though, so I’m not bothered. (Stop by the work site tomorrow morning to check it out.) This does, however, means I’m fresh out of capacity to manage anything beyond a random ten — or however many tracks my iPhone requires to get home.

  1. Don’t Let Me Down, No Doubt
  2. Red Mosquito, Pearl Jam
  3. Stupid Girl, Garbage
  4. A Hard Day’s Night, The Beatles
  5. Hanginaround – Counting Crows
  6. Rave On – M. Ward, featuring Zooey Deschanel
  7. Excuse Me, Mister – No Doubt
  8. Faded Love –  Patsy Cline
  9. Campus – Vampire Weekend
  10. Every Little Bit – Patty Griffin (I really only heard the opening chords of this before I unplugged for the walk home, but I’ll count it anyway.)

What tunes are you spinning tonight?

GREAT new name and header!!! I like it a lot 🙂 Just did the updates on both my laptop and iPhone, so am anxious to see if this posts. Oh — and your tweet about “where is everybody” — schools are closed etc. and it is the start of the holiday (but, alas, we’re off to work, right!)

Excellent name! Leave to Mike to come up with the winner. 🙂 Am I surprised? No, not at all.

Checking the iPod, which is woefully unupdated with new music….baker’s dozen because I just feel like it.

    1. Deconstruction – Indigo Girls (this is ironic considering our State’s budget woes and my agency’s new-found inability to pay construction contractors)

    2. The Island – Delores Keane

    3. I Love You – Sarah McLachlan

    4. Poker Face – Lady Gaga

    5. Wreck of the Day – Anna Nalick

    6. Roslyn – Bon Iver & St. Vincent

    7. Back to Black – Amy Winehouse

    8. Back Where I Was – John Elliot

    9. My Life Would Suck Without You – Glee Cast

    10. Multiply – Jamie Lidell

    11. Love Story – Taylor Swift

    12. I Don’t Need Anything But You – Annie Original Cast Recording

    13. Haunted – Evanescence
