123-129/365: Wherein I Get the Stinkeye from a Toddler

I tell ya… when I run out of hockey games and spring flowers, I’m gonna have a rough time trying to get a picture every day — I seem to have a photo of at least one of each every week lately. My favorite shot this time around, though, is of my 2 ½-year-old nephew giving the exact-same stinkeye over his cup of coffee that I’d give over mine if a camera was aimed at me in the morning.

May 4: A rare event - two hat tricks in one game. (I only took a picture of ours, though. The Penguins only got three hats.)

May 5: Bruce Springsteen in Charlottesville, from the front row of the pit. It's been almost a week and I am still a little giddy.

May 7: We're getting May flowers, without having lost April's showers.

May 8: Waiting for my takout at Good Stuff, which is the burger joint run by some guy who was on "Top Chef." (I don't watch it, so I don't know who, sorry.)

May 9: Looks like half the team is online for a beer during the second intermission.

LOVE the stinkeye….and the last picture is funny, too! You gave me two chuckles when I’ve only had 3 sips of coffee…a rare accomplishment!!

Your other 2.5 nephew actually asks for, likes, and given an opportunity drinks coffee. SHouldn’t come as a surprise, as he was the one to steal beers after your Dad’s funeral. Gee, that kid really takes after his Dad!! 😉

It’s so nice to have another generation that loves to share Grandma’s morning coffee 🙂

@Susan – Glad to provide the chuckles… And believe me, I understand how rare it is to find anything funny pre-coffee.

@CL – I guess they’re very much alike – G requested this cup of coffee and in this picture is actually walking back to the table from the microwave, because it wasn’t hot enough for him. And, he takes it black. Bizarre.
