February 3a: I took a different bus (the L2) home tonight after my tutoring, and unlike my normal route (the 90s), which is always chock-full of people, this bus went from sparsely filled to empty pretty fast.February 3b: And, as if the ghost bus wasn't enough, when I got to McPherson Square to transfer to the train, there were ducks in the Metro station -- a bunch of them, just hanging out by the White House sign. Weird.
Today’s picture for my photo-a-day project. Apologies, by the way, for the shite quality of today’s photos. My iPhone hates bright lights, and I still haven’t figured out how to load cropped/edited photos from iPhoto to the blog. Picasa for Mac, here I come.
That is a seriously fancy dancy city bus. I am impressed.

I don’t know if this can be moved to the front page with a picture of a glass of scotch on the rocks (lots of rocks) but for my one and possibly only appearance on the Sweetpea’s Garden blogging network, I would just like to raise a toast to Dad — on what would have been his 70th birthday.
I miss him all the time.
Here’s to you…..

Amen! I still have his last bottle of Dewars on the shelf 🙂
I am trying to remember his 60th and what fun we had on that birthday. A happy day to miss him — Hugs, you guys. Mom

Yeah, I miss him a lot, too!!!
As your brother cleaned out my liquor (:)), I have no scotch. But I will join in the toast, to Uncle Jim…
