My DC: Free to a Good Home

I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve happened along random book selections like this one near Dupont Circle. Sometimes set out display-style as below, other times tossed haphazardly into cardboard boxes, it’s a sure sign that DC is populated by my kindred spirits: people who can’t throw books away.

My bet would be that Jim’s daughter has NEVER scattered any of her books by the fence….And, Snapdragon was telling me the other night about alphabetizing all her books on her new wall of shelves, which she loves! What a great way to give away reading 🙂

Well, Mom, you’re absolutely right. My books go the much more Dad-approved route of being sold to the used bookstore or donated to the library. But I have picked up a few books this way, though!

I am still running around Frederick, it is just the weather has been a little nasty for outdoor photography. But I like the book selection that you saw.
