And scores, and scores!
I had the good luck to have fan-freaking-tastic seats (lower level, center ice) to Monday’s Capitals game against the Bruins, during which local hockey hero Alex Ovechkin scored a hat trick.
Ovie’s three goals ended up leading the team to a rare double-digit score. Not rare for the Caps, incidentally, rare for hockey. It’s no soccer as far as low scoring goes, but getting to 10 is still pretty uncommon.

WOW! Doesn’t look like there is an empty seat in the place! (Good pics) I remember hat tricks from the old Duster days. They are FUN and really electrify the fans & players 🙂
My husband was just dying that night, wishing that he was at the game. He kept checking the score on his computer and screaming. He was a little beside himself.
Hat Tricks do count!!! (inside joke)
BTW, have you and the Dude been to his game yet? If so, how was it???
