In case anyone was wondering, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, leaving this blog permanently in the hands of my sister, though I am grateful to her for keeping things going in my absence. It’s just that the conference has been keeping me busier than I anticipated and even fitting in the blogging I need to do for work this week has been a challenge, so there hasn’t been much time left over for personal writing. (I can re-post the work stuff here if there is interest — let me know in the comments.)
Anyway, I am loving the Twin Cities much more than I expected I would. If they could do something about the winters, it’s absolutely a place I could see living. And given the severity of my east coast bias, that’s really a huge statement about how great it is here.
I need to get some lunch. Snapdragon, back to you…
Sweetpea, I am enjoying “traveling” Minneapolis/St. Paul while reading “The Job” — the pictures of the architecture (old and modern) are beautiful and your commentary is very enlightening. It is fun to vicariously travel through you! Thanks for sharing !!
