It is possible to hit a foul ball into the section where we have our season tickets at RFK. I was quite sure it would defy the laws of physics to hit a ball high enough to get over the safety net behind home plate while also curving it enough to get it under the overhang and into 314. My brother-in-law told me I was wrong, and after seeing it happen not once but twice tonight, it appears that he’s correct. And here I am, publicly admitting it.
Damn.
Hmm, wonder what else I’m right about…
Even more importantly, did you have fun at the game and did Nats keep the other team with in 7 runs?
Sarah admitted she was wrong.
The Sox win again…in a blow-out with their number five starter.
Is there a full moon or something?
Don’t get cocky, Christopher. And Shannon, I always admit when I am wrong. It’s just, y’know, rare.
And as for the game, we lost. Again. No shocker there, but after Tuesday’s 15-1 ass-whupping, we were at least able to keep it to a respectable 8-4 drubbing.
Funny, I was going to offer my other half the same admonition. I would also answer your question, but I don’t think you’d like my answer 😉
And sis, always is a very definitive word…perhaps usually would be better!
Sorry that the Nats suck so bad. And Shannon, hold the celebration — a pennant every 88 or 90 years is nothing to get, well overly cocky about!!
Hey, I can get cocky when my team is 10.5 games in first place. 🙂
sprite and I have witnessed a few foul tips into section 314, which is always fun (and adrenaline charged, says the guy who isn’t the best catcher in the world).
