Tonight, the whole family (well, except for James, who is too little) went to the Houston Aeros hockey game. With the NHL lockout dragging on, depriving us of hockey at home, it was great to catch a game while we’re here. Eileen got us great seats – about six rows back on the attack end.

As it turned out, we were sitting right behind the guy who was the fan that leads the powerplay cheering – in a Super Man cape. He got the full spotlight and Jumbotron treatment, and my nephew D quickly realized he was visible behind him, so he started dancing.

I managed to get a couple of not-fantastic photos of him on the big screen, and he was so excited that he asked me to put one on the blog. (“Auntie Sarah! You have GOT to put this on your blog!”)

And so, here it is:

  1. YES! The most exciting part of the game….. Seriously, it was a lot of fun; haven’t been “up close & personal” to a hockey game in quite a while :)
