Right now, I should be looking about like this:

Happy kitty, sleepy kitty… Purr, purr, purr.

Instead, I am downloading and installing the iOS 6 upgrade for my iPhone. I should know better than to do this a) on the day of release and b) when I am tired, but I just can’t resist. Rationally, I know there is nothing in this update that can’t wait until tomorrow, but since I don’t get to have an iPhone 5, I am giving in to the operating system version of shiny-object syndrome.

Let’s hope I get to bed soon, and that I don’t brick my phone like I did with the first OS update to my first iPhone - the occasion that has forever made me wary of updating on release day.
